Create confidence in predictable implant results with maximum aesthetic appeal.

Prerequisite: E1

This course will help you introduce straightforward extraction techniques and immediate implant placement into your practice by building on foundational implantology techniques learned in Essentials 1 online.

If you are already placing implants, this course will give you the tools and confidence to take your practice to the next level in oral surgery. Learn a simple, safe, and predictable method for digital workflow and surgical techniques to reduce risk and improve patient outcomes.

In this course, Dr. Robert Stanley, the Smile Engineer, will guide doctors through choosing a final restoration type, ISQ testing, impression techniques, and optical scanning options for implant restorations. The final session’s content will build on previous sessions, exploring single unit implant restorations, implant maintenance, complications, and more.

The Stanley Institute Implant Pro Track will leave doctors confident to plan, place, and restore single unit dental implants in their practice.

Doctors focused on learning more about specific surgical techniques should take this course, specifically, extractions and grafting or focused on . If you’re a practitioner who is placing dental implants or has previously completed Essentials 1 of our implant continuum, Essentials 2 would be a great course for you to attend.

Assistants are encouraged to attend Essentials 1, where they learn how to become an implant coordinator. There are no break-out sessions for assistants in Essentials 2. This course is made just for doctors.

This course includes: two full days of continuing education content (16 hours of CE total). Additionally, participants are provided with course literature and hands-on training exercises. Breakfast and lunch will also be provided on both days, as well as a Friday evening social dinner.

Each doctor is encouraged to bring a case to review with Dr. Rob. He will be happy to do a quick review with the doctor/class.

We welcome doctors to incorporate their own cases into the live-surgical add-on portion of our implant continuum. To learn more, please visit our personal mentorship page.

We designed the continuum to build on itself, from Essentials 1 through to Essentials 3. Information covered in Essentials 1 and 3 will not be reviewed in this course; we recommend doctors complete the entire Stanley Institute continuum.

Yes. Although each clinician’s skill level is unique to them, our doctors leave our courses very confident to place dental implants in their offices. Some doctors come to Stanley Institute already placing many implants, while others attend the course to learn the fundamentals of single unit implant placement. We advise all doctors and team members to use caution when implementing new procedures and techniques into their practice. We recommend continued attendance in learning programs, hands-on training, and clinical observations and participation in order to further your dental implant education.

At Stanley Institute, we know it is not always possible to travel, which is why many courses at Stanley Institute are offered online. This course is offered both as a live-stream (day of) and as a pre-recorded online video course.

Please check the Stanley Institute website for dates. Reserve your seat now!

This course will take place in Raleigh-Durham, NC. The location of the course will be provided upon registration. Attendees should fly into Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

On each continuum’s page, we have featured a local hotel that you can reserve a room for your stay.

Courses at Stanley Institute help you work towards an ICOI fellowship. Upon completion of the Stanley Institute curriculum and Full-Mouth Course, you qualify for fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
